Self Leveling Air Ride Suspension Covering the Blast Proof Floors
Air Ride Suspension is installed below the Blast Proof Floors on Auto Elite’s Bulletproof Armored Luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinters to provide a smooth ride and help support the weight of the Armoring.
Armored Windows that prevent spalling and look like OEM glass
The Bulletproof Windows consist of a 40mm multiple laminate of leaded glass, acrylic, and polycarbonate. This slows the energy of the round and prevents spalling, catching the round and glass upon ballistic impact. The transparent window armor is contoured to retain the appearance of the original glass of the van.
Protection for full body of sprinter van, fuel tank, battery, exhaust, and tires
Armoring covers the full body of the sprinter van, including the doors, pillar posts, side panels, kick-panels, firewall, headers, roof, battery compartment, cargo area, rear wheel arches, and rear cargo doors. The fuel tank is wrapped with ballistic fragmentation blankets for explosion suppression. Wire mesh is installed on the tail pipe to protect the exhaust system. Run Flats are installed on all 6 wheels.
Custom Padding and Reinforcement to Door Hinges to Support Weight
Custom Padding and Overextension straps are installed on all four doors to protect the hinges and support the weight of the Armoring. Custom Reinforcement is added to the chassis pillar posts and heavy duty hinges.
Manual Lockable Sliding Door allows driver to enter cabin upon emergency
The Driver is able to enter the cabin of the Armored Sprinter Van upon emergency without going outside. The Manual Sliding Door behind the driver can be opened from the driver side and cabin side. This Sliding Door can be locked from the cabin side.
Powered Bulletproof Driver Window lowers to a limited height
The Bulletproof Driver Window can be lowered by several inches to allow the driver to communicate with law enforcement upon vehicle stoppage. The window does not go lower than what is shown in the picture.
